I am in the process of opening a new two-level venue in Auckland's Viaduct. The venue will be a progression in quality from my two existing venues on Ponsonby Road, Revelry and Mea Culpa (2017 Best Bar award winner).
We are looking to put together a world-class team of people who like working together, learning together, and offering the best possible product and service. Our bar team is headed by global cocktail competition champions, former spirit brand ambassadors, and industry professionals with decades of experience in every manner of venue.
We are primarily looking for Chef/Kitchen staff, floor staff, and entry-level positions at the moment but will still look at bar staff with high quality experience, particularly in cocktail or high volume tending.
Sous chefs interested in making the jump to running their own kitchen, creating changing specials, seasonal dishes, and will get the advantage of working with our consultant chef, one of NZ's best (and tv celebrity) on our high-end casual style of menu, but we do need all positions at this stage in the kitchen.
The drinks program consist of craft beers, boutique wines and one of the more progressive cocktail menus in Auckland, with elements like fermentation, tap cocktails, aged cocktails, bespoke syrups/shrubs/tinctures/infusions etc.
Best of all, staff hired at every position will get the same weekly training as everyone. We want you to get better and have fun doing it.
