After a decade of running his own recruiting business, Alen (that’s our founder!) had pretty much seen it all: Overflowing inboxes, messy spreadsheets, contact information scattered across what seemed like a thousand different places… It all added up to missed candidates and a whole lot of stress. Worse, existing solutions were clunky and expensive – especially for small businesses.
thought Alen (and you probably agree!) It was this simple thought that sparked one great, big idea: If finding the right candidate can feel like hunting for a needle in a haystack, why not reinvent the haystack? So, Alen assembled a dream team of developers, designers, and all-around-do-gooders, and together, that’s exactly what we set out to do.
Haystack isn’t a product pumped out by a development team with a brief – it’s a solution that grew naturally out of our firsthand experience with the frustrating and chaotic process recruitment can become without the right tools. We built the tool we wanted to exist – and now that it does, we’re excited to share it with you. Here’s to less digging and more finding!
